Fujicalin®
A DCPA which is suitable for direct compression of tablets. DCPA is generally used as an excipient for tablet manufacturing as it is relatively nonreactive to other substances. In addition, it is not bulky, has low water absorbability, and neutral pH in water suspension. Compared to conventional DCPA, Fujicalin® has high molding and oil adsorption capacity. Vitamin E, an oily API can be converted to powder using Fujicalin®. Such tablets showed excellent tablet strength and release properties. Fujicalin® can contribute to fluidity, compression molding property, oil/water absorption, and disintegration. It has been used in many areas of the pharmaceutical and food industries as excipient, binder, auxiliary disintegrating agent, anticaking agent, fluidity improver, and adsorption powderization agent. Fujicalin® has several applications in different areas and can be used in both pharma and food preparations.
Generic and alternative names
dibasic calcium phosphate anhydrousClaims / benefits / efficacy
Can be compressed into tablet at low compression forces when compared to conventional excipients. Compared to conventional DCPA, Fujicalin possesses better molding property and different particle composition (spherical particle with internal card-house structure), thereby producing little mortar/pestle frictions. It has a large surface area owing to its porosity and has high oil adsorption capacity.Function
auxiliary disintegrating agent; binder; disintegrant; anticaking agent; fluidity improvement agent; adsorption powderization agentApplication
Broad applicability to drugs and foods Converting Oil and extracts to free flowing Powder Fujicalin® is highly recommended for developing tablets of probiotics which can be stored at room temperature.Packaging
Fujicalin® is available in 20 kg aluminum bag in a Kraft bag.
Samples are available upon request.
