KEM 30

Kem 30 is a 50% water solution of Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate. It is a wide spectrum preservative stable to strong alkaline pH, which can be used alone in many cosmetic applications. It is highly effective against Gram-negative bacteria, Gram-positive bacteria, and molds, with limited activity against yeasts. It is very soluble in water and polar solvents, not soluble in oils and apolar solvents. It is stable and active in the pH range 3.5-12 and tolerates working temperature up to 50°C. It can be easily incorporated in a wide range of cosmetic formulations and is particularly suggested for aqueous formulations and emulsions.

    Kem 30 can be easily incorporated into a wide range of cosmetic formulations, including:
    • Hair care: shampoos, lotions, conditioners, gels, mousses;
    • Bath products: shower gels, bubble baths, hand cleaners, intimates, wipes;
    • Body and face care: tonics, gels, lotions, creams, wipes;
    • Make up: foundations, eyeliners, mascaras, powders, wipes;
    • Sun products: sunscreens, suntans, aftersuns;
    • Baby care: bath products, gels, lotions, creams, powders, wipes;
    • Raw materials: surfactants, vegetal extracts.
