Kem Plus is a preservative designed for the antifungal protection of cosmetic formulations without parabens. It is a combination based on a powerful fungicide for the preservation in broad pH range with no effect on odour & viscosity of cosmetics.
Kem Plus is a preservative system based on high concentration of the fungicidal agent IPBC, highly effective against yeasts & moulds at very low levels.

  • Application

    Kem Plus is particularly indicated for the protection of personal care products susceptible to fungal contamination. Suitable for the preservation of emulsions, oil-based formulations & wet wipes. It is easily incorporated in surfactants-based products and may be dissolved at 0.1% in aqueous formulations &
    gels. Typical applications include:
    • Hair care: shampoos, lotions, conditioners, gels, mousses.
    • Body & face care: tonics, gels, lotions, creams, oils, wipes.
    • Make-up: foundations, wipes.
    • Sun products: sunscreens, suntans, aftersuns.
    • Bath products: shower gels, bubble baths, handcleaners, intimate, wipes.
    • Raw materials: surfactants.
