Kemaben 2 is a synergistic combination of established cosmetic preservatives with powerful antimicrobial action, largely used for the protection of an extensive number of personal care products. This is the most popular preservative system with a great history of consumers use. It was the first preservatives blend developed for cosmetics that has become a standard in cosmetic preservation. Kemaben 2 is an unsurpassed preservative with the highest efficacy against bacteria & fungi, very easy to work that causes no changes on the appearance of cosmetics, all at reduced use levels and low cost.
Kemaben 2 is a broad spectrum preservative system highly effective against Gram-negative bacteria, Gram-positive bacteria, yeasts & moulds. The synergism between the components of Kemaben 2 allows formulators to employ lower levels of preservatives improving the safety in use of final cosmetics.
