Kemaben 5 is a preservative system with broad spectrum activity based on a well-balanced blend of established cosmetic preservatives. The combination of ingredients of Kemaben 5 is optimized to achieve the higher antimicrobial efficacy at the lowest level of preservatives. The solubility properties of this blend allow its use in a wide range of aqueous and oil-based cosmetic formulations.
Kemaben 5 is a preservative system very effective against Gram-negative bacteria, Gram-positive bacteria, yeasts & moulds. It combines the antibacterial properties of phenoxyethanol with the antifungal activity of three parabens and the boosting effect of propylene glycol.

    Body& face care: aqueous solutions, tonics, gels, lotions, creams, oils, wipes.
    Make-up: foundations, eyeliners, mascaras, powders, wipes.
    Sun products: sunscreens, suntans, aftersuns.

    Raw materials: surfactants.
