PRESERVATIVE A15

Imidazolidinyl Urea is one of the widest used cosmetic preservatives also listed in USP/NF with the name of Imidurea for use in topical pharmaceutical products. Preservative A15 is a powerful cosmetic preservative with high efficacy against bacteria. It is easy to work and causes no changes of the appearance of cosmetics, all at reduced use levels and low costs. 
Preservative A15 is highly effective against Gram-negative & Gram-positive bacteria. It is slightly active at the use levels against yeasts & moulds.

    Preservative A15 is widely used in a broad range of cosmetic products. Due to its high water solubility it is easily incorporated in aqueous formulations & emulsions. The many cosmetic applications include:
    • Hair care: shampoos, lotions, conditioners, gels, mousses.
    • Body & face care: toners, lotions, creams, masks, wipes.
    • Make up: foundations, eyeliners, mascaras, powders, wipes.
    • Sun products: sunscreens, suntans, aftersuns.
    • Bath products: shower gels, bubble baths, handcleaners, intimate, wipes.
    • Baby care: shampoos, bath products, gels, lotions, creams, powders, wipes.
    • Raw materials: surfactants.
    • Topical pharmaceutical preparations.

    • Metal drums of 10 KG. One large pallet is 48 drums of 10 KG (480 KG). One 20ft container is 10 pallets (4.8 MT)
